my first year, I think I met arodsagent first, only because he was wearing a WiS shirt ... he went into the bar and asked a couple of guys if they were with the WiS group ... they weren't ... that was awkward

My first year I ended up asking some dudes if they were with "What If" - they looked at me with total incomprehension.

I can't remember my first year ... that's a good sign I think.

We ended up at ceez's backyard, playing cards and drinking before I took RT for his 1st tattoo. That night, I slept in my car in front of ceez's house because his floor looked damn uncomfortable.

for that one (my first also), a couple odd memories:- kuz gave us a ride to ceez's place ... he had Caddyshack on the rear DVD, and was doing lines word for word, even though he couldn't even see the screen- nobody thought to take a **** before the ride, and with the traffic, that was the longest drive EVER ... as soon as we got to ceez's, it was a sprint to the bathrooms to **** before our bladders exploded- it was FREEZING when we were waiting for the cab in front of ceez's place and we were all still wearing our shorts and whatnot from the game

from year #2 (2005):- that was year of the bleacher party tix, plus the year of the downpour rain- was that the year that billy almost got kicked out for throwing the half-eaten hot dog into the CF batter's eye backdrop?- the plan was to meet at ceez's club ... apoc and I went back to our hotel to change out of the wet clothes, and took a cab to the club ... and got there before ceez ... so we knocked on the front door, and the bartender wouldn't let us in ... we sat out front for a while, arodsagent and his friend showed up in their car ... we went to Subway down the street for a quick bite ... back to the club and they still wouldn't let us in ... so we decided to bail ... driving back to Wrigley to catch the train, apoc gets a call from laura ... they were at a resteraunt at the EXACT corner we were at in the car at the time ... so we hopped out and went to the club with them ... by that time, we were allowed in

Yeah, that was the year of the Hot Dog Incident ... the whole thing was that the dog had become wet, so why finish it? (That was also the year we had the all-you-can-eat tickets, right? So there wasn't a cost thing either.) And if you're not going to finish it, where does it go?

If that was the year MikeT was there, that was the year of the Hot Dog thing.

The big goof, in my mind, was that it was MikeT's hot dog. He'd gone up to get it and stashed it under his seat. I figured the rain wouldn't have soaked thru the wrapper. WRONG.

Year 1..2003.  8 of us at the first 'Fest.  Cubs win..I think.  Year 2..2004  16 of us, some end up at ceez's place.  Cubs win 1-0 in 16 innings.Year 3..2005  75 or so attendees, m***ive downpour, unlimited food and drink, MikeT sighting, Cubs win...I think.Year 4..2006  30 or so, Milwaukee trip, Cubs win, Brewers win, we end up eating burritos at 4 am, crash at Billy's at 5, sleep ti 8, hungover for two daysYear 5..2007  30 or so attendees, poker, drinkee, I throw up on 90 Westbound around 2 amYear 6...2008  25 or so attendees, I scalp mad tickets for mad cash, pound some dude from Florida who flew in for his ***whipping, KICK!!, Year 7...2009 TBD

2009..29 attendees, great weather, great women, a killer streetfest, KICK!!, my cousin and her friend get worked by various members of the crew

16 inning game was 2003 ... I haven't been to a game that lasted that long
