Walkons - back to terrible Topic

My walk-ons (T Tech) are back to being completely worthless.

I know there was some discussion about making them serviceable players. Especially with the new "roll of the dice" recruiting.

Suggestion :
Increase the quality of the walk-ons to make them on par with freshmen of that division but give them mostly red/orange potentials so that they are not long-term sign-worthy.

Enables them to be put in as 3rd string backups but doesn't really reward the coach for having open schollies.

my walk-on (at B+ Tennessee) would be an okay D3 player. has ATH and SPD of 50+, DEF that will finish at 55, BH and P around 50 each, 40ish LP, and REB that will end up in the 20s.

I definitely think a happy medium would be nice. high D1 walkons could be like low D1 average players. low D1 walkons could be average D2 players. D2 walkons could be average D3 players.

Yeah. My first walkon (who is now a JR) might be an NBA player. My walkon from this season is a DIII player. There has to be a compromise between these two extremes.
