Isn't it funny that whenever you expose a dumb*** on here that they almost always say "Leave the house", "Too much time on the computer", "Get out of the basement", etc.And it usually comes from a person on a sports fantasy site with ZERO sport fantasy teams.So basiclly they are on this site to chat. Talk about no life.The Beatles Rock!!

Until last week I had a hardball dynasty team. I am currently looking for a new one. I was here last night messing around with simmatchup and stumbled on to this conversation. Do I now have your blessing to post here? Hey what year did you create this site?My advice was meant to help. You were spazzing out on post editing for whatever reason and I was worried about you as one human to another. I never indicated that you had "no life" but it is interesting that that is what you saw.

Three things I know about the Beatles

1. They were like the Monty Python of Music

2. I tend to prefer their songs when they're not being performed by John, Paul, Mark, and Luke.

3. I'm considering getting Beatles Rock Band, because I think the wife might like it.

I still do not see where I made an anti-Beatle-video argument or engaged in debate with primetime at all. I just made a comment about a video that was shown to be live but was not. Do I need to have 50 simleague teams to get what is going on here?

Who thought that it was a live performance? Most of us understand that musicians lip-synch. That doesn't detract from the enjoyment of hearing a good song, or being entertained by a televised clip.The Beatles > any current group

I, for one, reject this from my live music.

Utterly.

If I wanted to listen to the audio from the cd, and look at the band, I could do that.

I pony up to watch musicians perform.

I think the thing about it is that in the 60's there was no where to show a "video" so there were none made. Also I don't think there were many times that their live performances, like from a concert, was recorded, taped or whatever they did back then, so they don't exsist. Or very few anyway.So we take what we can get.

The Beatles stopped playing live in 66 and did not go back. Even thier famed Let It Be "live performances" used pre-recorded tapes.The story goes they quit to focus on recordings but when you look at the live shows Hendrix, Cream, etc were putting on in the late 60s it isn't hard to imagine that they knew that they had been lapped as performers. The Beatles may have been more popular than Jesus at the start of the 60s but by the end they were less popular than Fleetwood Mac.

They quit live performances in '66 because nobody could hear their music, including themselves on the stage. The fans were going to the shows and just screaming their heads off and not even listening to the music.
