" Hey Spudtard "

Did you know that a normally developing child moves past such name-calling at about age 9 or 10?

What about an exceptionally developing child, they don't move past it?

People have tried to address you as an adult, but that hasn't been productive at any point during the beta process. Can't blame anyone for losing their patience with you.

biggest problem is going to be unexpected EEs - the guys who go despite being likely staying or on the fence but 90 on the big board

if you have a guy who is clearly leaving, you need to plan for it in recruiting - but the unexpected departures are going to be very painful and may hurt programs for years

I think it has a nice ring to it.

Yup - this sucked. I bailed on the NY PF Stanford was on when I saw who else jumped in, switched gears to put AP on a Mizzou PG, who then seemed to immediately sign with Tennessee who I didn't even see was on the list. Then I shifted gears to go after a PG I identified early who NO ONE was on. No sim, no one. I put attn points on him, and next cycle he signed with a sim!?!? How can he go from considering no one to signed in one cycle? I am still sitting on the cash, bc for the last 2 players I tried to get, I haven't even gotten to the point of being able to spend it. The ONLY time it MAY actually benefit you to get an EE is if you can use that cash on a battle carried over from the first period.

2nd part recruiting is not working cause talent is not there at D1. I guess it's d2 and d3 best period. I will end up with two walk-ons and a really bad pf, just to test my knowledge of the 2nd scouting level.

I'm just trying to understand how a player can sign with a team who wasn't on his list, in one cycle. To even get to the point of unlocking a scholarship, APs have to be used, which causes the team to end up on the list in some fashion. Is this a case of different rules applying to SIM teams?

I had this same thing happen to me last recruiting session, a SIM jumped on a guy I was the only one on and between 12pm Eastern and the next cycle the SIM went from not on his list to signing the recruit.

I started a thread on my experience, so you can see the story with the Missouri PG there. Can't help you with the sim

I think the SIMS need to be toned down a BIT in BETA.

I just said the opposite on another thread. I could have beaten a D1 sim at D3 if a human didn't jump on.

Oh and I only have 1 opening. Thats too easy.

small change that would help this problem would be to get bonus attention points for an EE

which would let you better play catch up

and would sort of make sense - hey, a guy from this school just went to the NBA, they've got my attention.....

I like this idea (especially coupled with the two things I mentioned in the "my EE experience" thread)
